The intimidation is likely linked to collaboration with the Center for New Ideas think tank, blacklisted in Belarus as an \u201cextremist\u201d group.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Former interior troops serviceman Ja\u016dhien Bojka was found guilty of facilitating extremist activities and discrediting the state, the Homiel branch of the Viasna Human Rights Center reported.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A judge in Homiel sentenced Volha Mar\u010danka, 30, to three years of restricted freedom in home confinement for communications with the not defunct Bie\u0142aruski Hajun group that monitored military activity in Belarus, rights defenders said.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least 117 artists and more than 50 trade unionists have faced politically-motivated persecution in Belarus since 2020, according to the Belarusian Council for Culture and exiled trade unionists\u2019 initiative.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The International Committee for Investigation of Torture in Belarus released a report on ill-treatment at Penal Colony No 3 in the Viciebsk region, <em>Pozirk<\/em> reported.\u00a0 The document is based on 29 interviews with former designated political prisoners who were held between 2020 and 2023.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Human rights defenders added 11 new names to their list of political prisoners, which now contains 852 entries.
