June 20,\u00a0Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong>\u00a0Most of Belarusians\u00a0wounded in Wednesday\u2019s drone attack on a bus in Russia are in a stable condition after\u00a0two nights\u00a0at Minsk hospitals,\u00a0the health ministry\u2019s press office reported on June 20.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The condition of the children, who are receiving treatment at the National Child Surgery Center, is stable, the press office said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking about the most seriously wounded patient, a child who was brought to Minsk from the Bryansk province on life support, the press office said that he underwent surgery on June 19 and was in a \u201csatisfactory\u201d condition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The adult patient, currently receiving treatment at the Main Military Medical Clinical Center of the Armed Forces, has been moved from the resuscitation unit to a regular ward, his condition is stable, the press office said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All the patients are receiving a full range of high-tech medical services, and the health ministry is following the situation, the press office said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Homiel Regional Executive Committee reported on Friday, with reference to the health ministry, that all those wounded in\u00a0the\u00a0drone attack were in a stable condition.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One person was reportedly killed and six, including five children, sustained blast injuries in the drone strike on a tour bus in Russia\u2019s Bryansk province on Wednesday. The following day the survivors were transported to medical institutions in Minsk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The condition of one child and the adult was described as \u201cserious.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Viktoryja Haro\u0161ka, the wife of a coach from the Re\u010dyca sports school for children, was killed in the attack. Originally from Ukraine, she had lived in Belarus for a long time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two passenger buses departed from Re\u010dyca for Russia\u2019s Gelendzhik early Wednesday morning, carrying about 90 people in total, including 41 children. Around 11:00 a.m., a passenger informed city authorities about a drone attack in the Bryansk province. The bus that was hit reportedly carried 43 passengers, including 28 children enrolled in football programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The trip to Russia was organized as an annual summer retreat funded by parents. According to the Homiel Regional Football Federation, a different route is usually used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine denied involvement, stating that Ukrainian forces did not use unmanned aerial vehicles against targets in Russia\u2019s Bryansk region on the day the bus was hit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While warning against drawing premature conclusions, Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka on Thursday blamed the strike on a Ukrainian drone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Belarusian foreign ministry instructed all its diplomatic missions abroad to spread the information that a Ukrainian combat drone was responsible for the incident, with the ministry\u2019s spokesman Rus\u0142an Varanko\u016d describing the attack as \u201cdeliberate.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At a news conference on Friday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky ruled out a Ukrainian strike on the Belarusian passenger bus and cited the incident as an example of \u201cprovocations\u201d designed to \u201cdraw the people of Belarus into this war.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
