The Committee says that it is working to identify individuals responsible for the \u201cfake\u201d news.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On June 16, Flagshtok, a regional news outlet long labeled by authorities as \u201cextremist,\u201d wrote that it had verified rumors of Pryva\u0142a\u016d\u2019s arrest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last month Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka appointed Rus\u0142an Parchamovi\u010d as the new head of the Homiel City Executive Committee, dismissing Pryva\u0142a\u016d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pryva\u0142a\u016d came under media scrutiny following a gas explosion at an apartment building in Homiel in December 2025. The blast caused floor slabs from the eighth to the sixth floors to collapse and damaged the building\u2019s exterior wall panels.
