The outcome of the trial was not immediately known, Homielskaja Viasna reported.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maksim Vajciachovi\u010d, a 35-year-old instructor for the Anio\u0142 (Angel) search and rescue team, was convicted of facilitating \u201cextremist\u201d activities. His sentence is unknown, <em>Nasha Niva<\/em> reported.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The information ministry designated as \u201cextremist\u201d the content of a TikTok account run by economist Siarhiej \u010ca\u0142y, with 22,000 followers; aiiija on TikTok; Dzmitryj Spirydau on VKontakte; \u201c\u0412\u0456\u0442\u0430\u043b\u044c \u0422\u0440\u044b\u0433\u0443\u0431\u0430\u045e\u201d on Facebook; and aba_together on Threads.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least 2,022 NGOs, including associations, trade unions and foundations, were dissolved between the 2020 presidential election and April 30, 2026, Lawtrend said in a recent report.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>U\u0142adzimir Cielapun, a 70-year-old human rights defender arrested on April 10, is held in the pretrial detention center in Homiel despite suffering from cancer.
