April 28, Pozirk.<\/em> <\/strong>The government has submitted amendments to veterinary services legislation to the House of Representatives, the lower house\u2019s press office reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The proposed changes aim to align current laws with the Russia-led Eurasian Economic Union regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If approved, the bill would expand the agriculture ministry\u2019s powers over veterinary activities, except for disease prevention, diagnosis and treatment in farm animals during the production of animal products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier this month, Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka signed an edict introducing licensing requirements for all producers of animal feed and feed additives for farm animals, effective in January 2027, amid reports of livestock mortality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
