The man had been briefly detained in Vilnius for throwing a self-made petrol bomb at the Belarusian embassy. In Belarus, he had been tried on charges of rioting and insulting the head of state and ordered compulsory treatment at a mental institution, the Viasna Human Rights Center reported.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Belarus branded Vilnius-based European Humanities University (EHU), which provides instruction for Belarusians, an extremist group. EHU was founded in Minsk in 1992, but the Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka government banned it in 2004, forcing it to relocate to Lithuania, <em>Pozirk<\/em> reported.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Authorities in Belarus added the 2012 film <em>\u017dyvie Belarus!<\/em> (Long Live Belarus) by Krzysztof \u0141ukaszewicz and about 20 social media accounts, including those linked to the media outlets <em>Belarusian Investigative Center<\/em> and <em>Mediazona<\/em> to the list of extremist content banned for distribution in the country, according to Viasna and the information ministry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Opposition politician Mika\u0142aj Statkievi\u010d said he had not received an official certificate of release, even though he has been free since February 19. According to the interior ministry\u2019s database, he is still listed as an inmate of Penal Colony No. 13 in H\u0142ybokaje, Viciebsk region.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dzianis Da\u0161kievi\u010d, an exiled <em>Rogachov Online<\/em> contributor from Raha\u010do\u016d, Homiel region, has reported that police officers had visited his parents to examine their correspondence with him, Viasna reported.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The administration of Penal Colony No. 28 in Ivacevi\u010dy, Brest region, forced inmates to phone their relatives at home to demand that they unsubscribe from a chat, in which they shared information about the facility\u2019s rules.
