April 13, Pozirk. <\/em><\/strong>Belarusian hospitals continue to treat Russian soldiers exchanged during the recent prisoner swap with Ukraine, according to a report aired by the state-run Belarus 1<\/em> TV channel yesterday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A healthcare professional from Homiel, whose name and position were not disclosed, told journalists that two Russian nationals were recently admitted to the intensive care unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The report confirmed that Minsk is handling the logistics of the POW exchanges, providing bus services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Iryna Ka\u015bcievi\u010d, chair of the lower house’s Standing Committee on Labor and Social Affairs, and Tatyana Moskalkova, Russian commissioner for human rights sanctioned by the democratic countries, reportedly welcomed exchanged Russian soldiers in Belarus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two days ago, Ukraine and Russia exchanged prisoners of war on Belarusian territory for the fourth time since the start of 2026, with each side handing over 175 soldiers and 7 civilians. Last week, both countries also exchanged fallen soldiers\u2019 remains, with Russia returning the bodies of 1,000 deceased Ukrainians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In February 2022, Russia started a full-scale war against Ukraine in which the Belarusian authorities supported the Kremlin, allowing Russian troops to attack Ukraine from Belarus on multiple occasions, supplying arms to Moscow and treating wounded Russian soldiers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
