April 10, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka has received credentials from ambassadors of 10 Asian and African countries, expressing hopes that humanity will find the wisdom to \u201cstop in time\u201d and redirect its efforts toward constructive goals amid ongoing military conflicts, his press office reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Belarusian ruler, who supports Russia\u2019s war on Ukraine, mentioned that \u201cone of the major conflicts is raging near Belarus\u2019 southern borders,\u201d yet did not elaborate on Minsk\u2019s role in it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Envoys of Algeria, Bangladesh, Ghana, Egypt, Japan, North Korea, Palestine, Somalia, Tanzania and Sri Lanka participated in today\u2019s ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u0141uka\u0161enka recalled his recent visits to Algeria, Ghana and North Korea, highlighting Belarus\u2019 friendly relations with Egypt and describing ties with Somalia as entering a \u201cnew chapter.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The politician described Bangladesh as a \u201clong-standing partner in the Asian region,\u201d invited Sri Lankans to study in Belarus and urged Tanzania to work toward expanding bilateral trade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Belarusian ruler called on the international community not to overlook the Palestinian issue while pursuing efforts to resolve the conflict involving Iran, as he addressed the Palestinian envoy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belarus has always been and remains interested in developing constructive and mutually beneficial ties with Japan, \u0141uka\u0161enka told the Japanese ambassador, adding that progress depends solely on Tokyo. Japan imposed sanctions on \u0141uka\u0161enka and his sons after Minsk supported Russia\u2019s war against Ukraine in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
