February 4, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Police in Germany interrogated J\u00f6rg Dornau, a far-right German politician who owns a farm in Belarus, at the local legislature office on suspicion that he had circumvented sanctions to export a loader to the sanctions-hit country, Bild<\/em> reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police also searched his home, office and vehicles in R\u00f6tha near Leipzig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dornau, a member of Alternative for Germany (AfD), allegedly indicated Kazakhstan as destination in August 2022, but delivered the telescopic loader to his farm Cybulka-Bei\u0142 in Hudy, Hrodna region, in violation of regulations governing foreign trade and payments (AWG), Bild<\/em> reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier, the Saxony Landtag had voted to lift Dornau\u2019s immunity from prosecution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On March 27, the European Union imposed sanctions on 25 individuals and seven entities in Belarus, including the agricultural company Cybulka-Bie\u0142, accused of using Belarusian political prisoners\u2019 labor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
