December 22, <\/strong>Pozirk.<\/strong> <\/em>The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade has ordered Russian online retailers Wildberries and Ozon to withdraw Italian pasta from sale, the ministry\u2019s press office reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both marketplaces reportedly offer pasta products that are prohibited from import and sale in Belarus, it said, citing government directive No. 700 adopted four years ago, which prohibits the import and sale of Italian-made pasta as part of counter-sanctions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier this year, the ministry ordered Wildberries to stop selling goods produced in the countries that Minsk considers \u201cunfriendly.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The list includes Albania, Australia, Canada, Iceland, Liechtenstein, the European Union, Montenegro, New Zealand, Norway, North Macedonia, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Minsk labelled them as \u201cunfriendly\u201d for introducing sanctions against Belarus over human rights abuses and complicity in the Russian invasion of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
