September 10, Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> Minsktrans, a Minsk-based bus operator, has announced that it will suspend bus services to Europe, citing Warsaw\u2019s decision to temporarily close the border with Belarus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Belarusian passenger transport company suspends its services to Warsaw and Munich between September 12 and 16. Other companies, including Eurolines, Firma SGBUS and the DND Group, have also canceled trips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yesterday, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said the border will be closed from September 12 in connection with the Belarusian-Russian military exercise Zapad-2025, which he described as \u201caggressive.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Polish Interior Minister Marcin Kierwi\u0144ski said Poland may close its border with Belarus for a period extending beyond Zapad-2025. He said that the border would open when officials are fully confident that Belarus does not pose a direct threat to Poland or its citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Polish officials said today that the Polish military recorded 19 drone incursions in the country\u2019s airspace overnight, blaming Russia for the violations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking to the Polish parliament, Tusk said three \u2013 or perhaps four \u2013 drones were shot down by Polish and NATO aircraft that were scrambled to deal with the threat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tusk said a significant number of the drones flew into the country from Belarus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
