You should feel at home here.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pezeshkian arrived in Minsk on an official visit yesterday amid \u0141uka\u0161enka\u2019s increased contacts with Washington and tensions between the United States and Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Iran, the president holds the second-highest position of power after the supreme leader. The president is the head of the executive branch and is responsible for the day-to-day running of the government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pezeshkian, a former cardiac surgeon, was elected president last July after Ebrahim Raisi died in a helicopter crash.
