{"id":150183,"date":"2025-08-08T18:49:06","date_gmt":"2025-08-08T15:49:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/150183\/"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:10:49","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T20:10:49","slug":"belarus-domestically-produced-goods-sales-continue-to-fall","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/150183\/","title":{"rendered":"Belarus: Domestically-produced goods sales continue to fall\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>August 8, <em>Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> The share of sales of domestically-produced goods in retail outlets dropped to 54.6 percent in the first half of 2025, according to data from the National Statistical Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That was a decrease from the 57.9 percent registered in the same period of 2024 and the 60.9 percent observed in the same period of 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A decline was recorded throughout the country:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brest region\u201462.3 percent (down from 67.3 percent and 66.4 percent in 2024 and 2023, respectively)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Viciebsk region\u201462.7 percent (67.7 percent and 66.6 percent)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Homiel region\u201460.7 percent (65.5 percent and 64.5 percent)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hrodna region\u201462.1 percent (67.5 percent and 66.2 percent)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Minsk region\u201457.9 percent (66.7 percent and 63.1 percent)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mahilo\u016d region\u201462.5 percent&nbsp;(66.4 percent and 65.8 percent)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Minsk\u201441.3 percent (47.8 percent and 43.5 percent)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Retailers were fully supplied with Belarusian gasoline, diesel fuel, pork and eggs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A large share (95 percent or higher) of sales is reported for domestically-produced butter, beef, poultry and game meat, sugar and sugar substitutes, vodka, motor fuel, fruit wine, meat products, canned meat, fresh carrots, sawn timber, flour and cheeses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A low share (below 25 percent) is reported for TV sets, perfumes, cosmetics, shoes, household washing and drying machines, fish, bicycles, vegetable oil, outerwear and knitwear and used cars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout 2024, the share of sales of domestically-produced goods fell to 56.4 percent from 59.5 percent in 2023 and 61 percent in 2019.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>August 8, Pozirk.
