{"id":140830,"date":"2025-06-01T22:55:21","date_gmt":"2025-06-01T19:55:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/140830\/"},"modified":"2026-02-24T20:40:57","modified_gmt":"2026-02-24T20:40:57","slug":"belarus-stands-for-speedy-peace-settlement-ambassador","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/140830\/","title":{"rendered":"Belarus stands for speedy Ukraine settlement \u2013 ambassador"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>June 1, <em>Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Belarus is &#8220;extremely interested in a quick resolution of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine,&#8221; Ambassador to Turkey Anatol H\u0142az <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aa.com.tr\/ru\/%D0%BC%D0%B8%D1%80\/%D0%BF%D0%BE%D1%81%D0%BE%D0%BB-%D0%B1%D0%B5%D0%BB%D0%B0%D1%80%D1%83%D1%81%D0%B8-%D0%B2-%D0%B0%D0%BD%D0%BA%D0%B0%D1%80%D0%B5-%D1%82%D1%83%D1%80%D1%86%D0%B8%D1%8F-%D0%BF%D1%80%D0%B5%D0%BA%D1%80%D0%B0%D1%81%D0%BD%D0%BE-%D0%B2%D1%8B%D0%BF%D0%BE%D0%BB%D0%BD%D1%8F%D0%B5%D1%82-%D1%81%D0%B2%D0%BE%D1%8E-%D0%BF%D0%BE%D1%81%D1%80%D0%B5%D0%B4%D0%BD%D0%B8%D1%87%D0%B5%D1%81%D0%BA%D1%83%D1%8E-%D1%80%D0%BE%D0%BB%D1%8C\/3585826\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">told<\/a> <em>Anadolu Agency<\/em> in an interview.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;He pointed out that from the first days of the conflict, Belarus and Turkey have supported a peaceful settlement and stability in the region,&#8221; the agency said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Our country borders Ukraine, so we also experience these developments in a deeply human way \u2013 we care about the victims and rejoice at any progress in the negotiation process,&#8221; H\u0142az said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He described the conflict as &#8220;deeply personal&#8221; and &#8220;humanitarian&#8221; for his government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A second round of peace talks between Russia and Ukraine is expected to take place in Istanbul tomorrow. The first round, which occurred on May 16, resulted in the largest prisoner exchange since the beginning of the war. However, there was no progress toward a ceasefire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On February 24, 2022, Moscow launched a full-scale war against Ukraine with Minsk&#8217;s support. During the &#8220;first days of the conflict&#8221; mentioned in the interview, Belarusian territory and infrastructure were actively used by the Russian Federation for an offensive.
