The Belarusian delegation at that meeting was led by Raman Ha\u0142o\u016d\u010danka, chairman of the State Defense Industry Committee who would soon be promoted to prime minister by \u0141uka\u0161enka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of To Lam\u2019s current visit, defense officials from the two countries signed a protocol of intentions to strengthen military education ties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the talks, \u0141uka\u0161enka and To Lam signed a statement on strategic partnership between the two countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To Lam was elected as secretary general of Vietnam\u2019s ruling and only legal political party in August.
