April 3, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> U\u0142adzis\u0142a\u016d \u0141aryjona\u016d, the financial police chief at the State Control Committee (SCC), told the ONT<\/em> television channel yesterday that the SCC had uncovered about 70 crimes related to “funding different kinds of destructive activity” in cooperation with the Investigative Committee last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2020, the government has branded any unauthorized political, civic or media activity as extremism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ONT <\/em>mentioned a criminal case against Jahor Vo\u0142ka\u016d, named a de facto owner and one of the managers “of the largest transport company.” According to the Investigative Committee, he has been charged with funding the Kastu\u015b Kalino\u016dski Regiment fighting Russia in Ukraine and with economic crimes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vo\u0142ka\u016d has reportedly transferred his business to Poland, and it is unclear if he is arrested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also mentioned Mika\u0142aj Kaca\u0142apa\u016d, presenting him as an exiled top manager of the “famous IT company Gamestream.” Officials accused him of making donations, presumably to the Kastu\u015b Kalino\u016dski Regiment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The network showed four extremism funding suspects, political prisoners Michai\u0142 Fando and Natalla Levaja, and other regime targets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
