March 18, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Belarusian border guards found two dead migrants without outerwear yesterday near the frontier with Lithuania and Poland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The State Border Committee claimed that Polish security officers threw one of them into Belarus through an animal gate in the border wall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the border agency, three migrants have died at the border since the year’s start, one near Latvia, one near Poland and one near Lithuania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belarusian officials often report the misfortunes of foreigners heading to the EU, blaming the neigbors for their deaths and injuries. However, Minsk never explains how people from Syria, Iraq or Pakistan end up Belarus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The European Union says the migration crisis, ongoing since 2021, was organized by Minsk and Moscow to intimidate its members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Latvia, Lithuania and Poland have stopped at least 2,200 irregular entries from Belarus this year, according to official stats analyzed by Pozirk<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
