The original deadline was December 31, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The National Legal Portal published the edict today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier, officials announced that Chinese would finance the construction of two world-class sports facilities, a swimming pool and the soccer stadium, in Minsk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The pool was put into operation in November 2024, almost a year behind the schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At a news conference on January 26, \u0141uka\u0161enka noted that the stadium would be opened &#8220;before the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War,&#8221; May 9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>State media reported that it would host the National Cup final on May 24.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0141uka\u0161enka signed an edict to approve the two projects the summer of 2018. In September 2022, \u0141uka\u0161enka claimed that the Chinese are building the sports facilities in Minsk &#8220;for free.&#8221; The government has not disclosed their cost.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>March 12, Pozirk.
