{"id":126963,"date":"2025-02-19T12:50:17","date_gmt":"2025-02-19T09:50:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/126963\/"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:10:49","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T20:10:49","slug":"officials-set-monthly-inflation-limits","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/126963\/","title":{"rendered":"Officials set monthly inflation limits"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>February 19, <em>Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> Annual inflation in Belarus must not exceed 5 percent, as projected by the government for 2025, says Directive No 4 by the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The document, published on the National Legal Internet Portal also sets monthly inflation limits with 0.7 percent reached in January.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In February, inflation may rise to 1.9 percent with gradual increases in the following months up to 5 percent in December.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In October 2022, the government introduced profit margin caps to control prices for 370 commodity items, including food, clothing, footwear, furniture, textiles, vehicles and spare parts, construction materials and other goods.
