January 27, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> A total of 365 participants of yesterday’s protest rallies abroad have been identified, the Belarusian Investigative Committee (IC) reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It claimed that 581 people protested in different countries on January 26. It supposedly identified 203 protesters in Warsaw, 11 in Wroc\u0142aw, 18 in Bia\u0142ystok, 29 in Vilnius, 39 in New York and 11 in Prague.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officials plan to prosecute them, including in absentia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Investigators are checking whether they own property and real estate in Belarus, directly or through third parties, the IC said, apparently hinting at confiscation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On January 26, the Belarusian diaspora held rallies to protest what Minsk presented as a presidential election. It was held under the full control of officials and security forces. The Central Election Commission has claimed that Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka won with 86.82 percent of the vote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
