January 1, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has reaffirmed the importance of supporting all people fighting for freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Those who don’t give it away in Chi\u0219in\u0103u. Those who fight for their future in Tbilisi. And I am sure the day will come when we all will say ‘Long live Belarus!'” he said in his New Year’s address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together, we prove that no dictator can break the spirit of those who believe in freedom,” she said on X.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Moldova, pro-European President Maia Sandu won a second term in the autumn election. In Georgia, daily protests against the ruling pro-Russian party’s decision to freeze negotiations on joining the European Union have entered their second month. At the same time, protesters are demanding a new parliamentary election.
