November 18, Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> Belarusians bought 376,300 tons of gasoline in January\u2013June, 5.2 percent more than in the same period of 2023 but 10.3 percent less than in the first half of 2019, according to the National Statistical Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the third quarter, Belarus ranked third in the Eurasian Economic Union in terms of the gasoline and diesel fuel costs, the Eurasian Economic Commission said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, in September the most expensive gasoline was in Armenia, $1.38. It was followed by Kyrgyzstan ($0.8), Belarus ($0.75), Russia ($0.64) and Kazakhstan at ($0.42).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Average consumer prices exceeded average producer prices by a factor of 2 in Russia, by a factor of 1.6 in Kazakhstan and by a factor of 1.5 in Belarus and Kyrgyzstan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Consumers in Belarus also bought 300,700 tons of diesel fuel in six months, as well as 1.11 million cubic meters of natural gas and 56,100 tons of LPG. Natural gas consumption fell by 1.7 percent year on year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
