{"id":110636,"date":"2024-10-22T18:06:35","date_gmt":"2024-10-22T15:06:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/110636\/"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:10:49","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T20:10:49","slug":"projected-budget-deficit-for-2025-not-a-problem-expert","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/110636\/","title":{"rendered":"Projected budget deficit for 2025 not a problem \u2013 expert"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>October 22, <em>Pozirk<\/em>. <\/strong>The 4.4-billion-rubel ($1.3-billion) budget deficit projected for 2025 is not worth &#8220;a serious conversation,&#8221; said Anatol Charyton\u010dyk, a senior researcher at the BEROC think tank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Belarusian finance ministry projected revenue at 45.84 billion rubels and expenditure at 50.3 billion rubels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Charyton\u010dyk described the revenue estimate as very conservative. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;If you look at the budget projections, you can see that the deficit is to be financed from funds accumulated in bank accounts,&#8221; he said. &#8220;As far as I remember, there was about 5 billion rubles [$1.53 billion] at the National Bank and 12 billion at other banks. Obviously, they cannot spend it all because cash is needed for the smooth implementation of the budget process.
