{"id":109539,"date":"2024-10-15T17:41:52","date_gmt":"2024-10-15T14:41:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/109539\/"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:10:49","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T20:10:49","slug":"minsk-plans-to-remove-caps-on-pensions-of-retirement-age-workers","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/109539\/","title":{"rendered":"Minsk plans to remove caps on pensions of retirement-age workers"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>October 15, <em>Pozirk<\/em>. <\/strong>Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka has supported a bill that would make retirement-age workers eligible for full pensions, the labor ministry reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Belarusian ruler said earlier this year that he counted on retirees to address workforce shortages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPerhaps it is time for the government to consider bringing back those who have retired,\u201d he said at a government conference in April. \u201cWe will find several thousand patriotically-minded people we could call to production facilities.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the current laws, full pensions are paid only to retirement-age agricultural workers, as well as those whose monthly salary does not exceed the average monthly wage multiplied by a factor of 1.3.
