October 1, Pozirk<\/em>. <\/strong>The Belarusian Prosecutor General’s Office said it has ordered Russia\u2019s Wildberries online store in Belarus to stop selling unmanned aerial vehicles, aircraft models and spare parts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Customs authorities found that Belarusians order these goods by mail, spokesman D\u017amitryj Brylo\u016d said in a video statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The uncontrolled distribution of UAVs may contribute to violations of public order, extremism and terrorism, the Prosecutor General’s Office said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On April 1, the government enacted an edict prohibiting individuals from importing, storing, selling, operating or producing civilian drones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The move came after a drone attack damaged an expensive Russian military aircraft, A-50, at the Ma\u010duli\u0161\u010dy airfield near Minsk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides, operating drones in the border area is a breach punishable under the Administrative Offenses Code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wildberries is a large Russian marketplace, which also delivers goods to Armenia, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
