September 17, <\/strong>Pozirk.<\/strong> <\/em>A Wizzair flight with Belarusian journalist Andrej Miale\u0161ka and his daughter who were denied entry to Georgia departed for Warsaw early this morning with an almost 10-hour delay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reasons for the delay remain unknown, but it may be a regular problem as the same flight posted a 9-hour delay one week ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miale\u0161ka and his family settled down in Batumi, Georgia, after fleeing political reprisals in Belarus three years ago. On September 16, he and his minor daughter returned to Georgia from a trip to Poland but were stopped at the airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Georgian authorities gave them back their passports and phones shortly before the boarding of the Warsaw-bound flight started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miale\u0161ka’s wife and another daughter remain in Georgia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
