September 3, Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> Ukraine has not spotted any significant movements of military equipment or troops in Belarus near the shared border, Ukrainian border guard spokesman Andriy Demchenko has told reporters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belarusian side has some equipment and personnel farther away from the border yet it \u201cis not significant,\u201d UNN.ua<\/em> reported, quoting him as saying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier, Belarus ordered some of its units to move in the Ukrainian direction but they did not approach the border, the official noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In late June, Minsk accused Kyiv of intensifying intelligence activities and moving combat units closer to the border. Belarusian officials said they sent reinforcements to beef up border security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka later withdrew some forces, claiming that his generals had made some deal with Ukrainian commanders, but then again said he had sent troops to secure the border.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
