September 3, Pozirk. <\/em><\/strong>The terms of use of nuclear weapons will be laid down in a Belarusian-Russian treaty on security guarantees, Russia’s TASS<\/em> reported, citing Belarusian Foreign Minister Maksim Ry\u017eanko\u016d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Its signing is planned for December 8, marking the 25th anniversary of the Treaty on the Union State of Russia and Belarus, he noted in his address to the Academy of Management students on Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The diplomat talked about priorities of the Belarusian foreign policy in his lecture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minsk allowed Russia to deploy tactical nuclear munitions in Belarus last spring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In late 2023, Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka confirmed their delivery. A leaked CIA report suggested that nukes might be stored in the Mahilo\u016d region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moscow has avoided making official comments on the Belarusian leader’s claim that he can decide on the use of the nuclear arsenal located in Belarus, although Russian President Vladimir Putin repeatedly said that Russia fully controlled it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
