Interior ministry blacklists anti-disinformation group as extremists
April 11, Pozirk. The interior ministry branded the anti-disinformation project Čaho Brešaš? (Why Are You Lying?) an extremist group on April 10, taking the total of entries on its extremist register to 195.
The extremist designation includes the project’s founders, administrators and members as well as its social media pages and the logo displaying a yellow barking dog against a black background.
The project unmasks manipulation and disinformation methods used by the state-sponsored propaganda in Belarus. It has 4,400 followers on YouTube, 11,000 on TikTok and 1,366 on X.
