Female guide killed, six wounded in drone attack in Russia on bus carrying Belarusian children

June 17, Pozirk. A female guide was killed and six people were wounded, including members of a children’s soccer team from the Homiel region, in a drone attack in Russia’s Bryansk province, acting Governor Yegor Kovalchuk said on Telegram.
The bus was en route to the Black Sea resort of Gelendzhik when it came under attack by a Ukrainian drone, he said.
The injured were taken to hospital and received medical treatment. The remaining passengers will be sent back home, Kovalchuk added.
Local media reported that the team had arrived from the town of Rečyca in the Homiel region.
Russian investigators have launched a probe into what they described as an “act of terror.”
The Russian Black Sea resorts of Gelendzhik, Anapa and Sochi have been targeted by repeated Ukrainian drone attacks in June. Airports in Krasnodar, Gelendzhik and Sochi suspended operations on June 16 and 17.
