Belarus’ Roman Catholic, Greek Catholics and Protestants celebrate Easter

April 5, Pozirk. Roman Catholics, Greek Catholics and Protestants are celebrating Easter Sunday, marking the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Belarus’ top clerics, Iosif Stanieŭski of the Roman Catholic Church, Jan Sierhiuš Hajok of the Greek Catholic Church and Juryj Ramančyk of the Union of Evangelic Christian Baptists have issued celebratory messages on the occasion.

“Remember: everything is possible if we don’t lose faith and continue to work for the sake of our better future,” said opposition leader Śviatłana Cichanoŭskaja on her message. “Even if something is seems unattainable, days always come when the world overpowers darkness.”
