Belarus’ airline Biełavija halts Tel Aviv service until April 16
March 26, Pozirk. The Belarusian flagship carrier Biełavija has cancelled its flights from Minsk to Tel Aviv, citing the closure of Israeli airspace to foreign carriers until April 16.
Passengers affected by the flight cancellations can request refunds at the point of purchase or reschedule their flight for another date, the airline said.
Biełavija, along with other airlines, cancelled flights to Israel following the launch of the military operation by the United States and Israel in Iran on February 28 and the killing of Iran’s longtime ruler Ali Khamenei and other top officials.
Tehran retaliated by launching missile and drone strikes at Israel and Gulf states.
