Drone that crashed near Belarus border confirmed as Ukrainian – Lithuanian PM

March 24, Pozirk. The drone with explosives that crashed in Lithuania’s Varėna district bordering Belarus in the early hours on March 23 was a Ukrainian UAV that had strayed off course, Delfi reports, citing Lithuanian Prime Minister Inga Ruginienė.

The official made this statement after the urgent meeting of the National Security Commission.

The drone fell on a frozen lake; no one was injured. Earlier that night, reports of a drone passing overhead came from the Mahiloŭ region in Belarus, followed by the Minsk and Hrodna regions.
