Northern Belarus sees highest-ever daily temperatures

March 11, Pozirk. Temperatures in several locations across Belarus’ northern Viciebsk region hit daily record highs on March 10, with 15.7 degrees Celsius recorded in Lepiel, 15.7C in Biarezinski Natural Reserve and 14.3C in Jeziaryšča.

The previous March 10 highs were 15.5 for Lepiel (2025), 15.2 for the Biarezinski Natural Reserve (2024) and 12.9 for Jeziaryšča (2025), according to Pozirk’s analysis of data from Biełhidramiet.

March 10 saw the warmest temperature in Pinsk (17.1C), but the day’s all-time high, 20.4C, was recorded some 70 kilometers westward in Drahičyn a year ago.

Warm weather is expected across Belarus from March 11 to 14, with temperatures rising to 19C in the country’s southwest on March 12.

The all-time highs for the coming days are:

March 11 – 17.6C in Žłobin in 2025
March 12 – 17.8C in Lelčycy in 2002
March 13 – 19.9C in Brahin in 2002
