Rubel rises against US dollar, euro at BCSE on February 24

February 24, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 2.8487 against the US dollar at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

The Belarusian currency also climbed to 3.3595 per euro, but fell to 4.1544 per 10 yuan and 3.7397 per 100 Russian rubles. 

Last week (February 16-20), the rubel rose 0.35 percent against the US dollar, 0.9 percent against the euro and 0.21 percent against the yuan but lost 0.3 percent of its value against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency gained 1.83 percent against the dollar in January.
