Prominent sociologist to advise opposition leader’s team

February 2, Pozirk. Prominent sociologist Hienadź Koršunaŭ will serve as an advisor to the team of Belarusian opposition leader Śviatłana Cichanoŭskaja, her Telegram channel reports.
Koršunaŭ, former head of the Institute of Sociology at the National Academy of Sciences and former senior researcher at the exiled Center for New Ideas, has recently joined the Belarusian Sociology Group.
He is expected to support Cichanoŭskaja’s team through analytical work, expert assessment, strategic planning and engagement with the expert community.
