Rubel up against US dollar, yuan at BCSE on January 28

January 28, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 2.8508 against the US dollar at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

The Belarusian currency also climbed to 4.1016 per 10 yuan but dropped to 3.405 per euro and 3.7412 per 100 Russian rubles.

Last week (January 19-23), the rubel rose by 1.93 percent against the US dollar, 1.81 percent against the yuan, but fell by 0.63 percent against the Russian ruble. It did not trade against the euro last week.

The Belarusian currency gained 16.43 percent against the dollar in 2025.
