Biełhidramiet issues weather alerts for January 8, 9
January 7, Pozirk. Biełhidramiet has issued weather alerts for January 8 and 9.
High wind and snow warnings are in place for January 8 for southeastern Belarus.
Similar conditions are expected across the country on January 9, with heavy snow warnings for some locations in southeastern Belarus and wind gusts of up to 24 meters per second.
Temperatures are expected to drop to -3 -9 degrees Celsius during the day and -4 -16C at night, said the Ministry for Emergency Management citing Biełhidramiet.
