Rubel rises against US dollar, yuan on December 29
December 29, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 2.8925 against the US dollar at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).
The Belarusian currency also climbed to 4.1168 per 10 yuan but dropped to 3.7248 per 100 Russian rubles.
The rubel has not traded against the European currency since December 19 and remained at 3.465 against the euro.
Last week (December 22–24), the rubel rose by 1 percent against the dollar and 0.51 percent against the yuan but lost 1.48 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency gained 16.07 percent against the dollar in the first 11 months of 2025.
