Rubel weakens against dollar, yuan on December 16

December 16, Pozirk. The rubel has weakened to 2.9345 against the US dollar at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.

The Belarusian currency also fell to 4.1675 per 10 yuan but rose to 3.6987 per 100 Russian rubles and to 3.4541 against the euro.

Last week (December 1–5), the Belarusian currency weakened by 2.92 percent against the euro, 2.49 percent against the dollar and 2.75 percent against the yuan but rose by 2.14 percent against the ruble.

The Belarusian currency gained 16.07 percent against the dollar in the first 11 months of 2025.
