Rubel hits 30-month high against US dollar at BCSE on December 1

December 1, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 2.9016 against the US dollar at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange, hitting a high comparable to the value recorded on May 16, 2023, when it stood at 2.9174.

The Belarusian currency also climbed to 3.3672 per euro and 4.0972 per 10 yuan but dropped to 3.7301 per 100 Russian rubles.

Last week (November 24–28), the rubel rose by 0.43 percent against the dollar and 0.57 percent against the euro but lost 0.26 percent of its value against the yuan and 0.59 percent against the ruble.

The Belarusian currency gained 16.07 percent against the dollar in the first 11 months of 2025.
