Opposition leader visiting Germany

November 26, Pozirk. Belarusian opposition leader Śviatłana Cichanoŭskaja arrived in Germany yesterday on a two-day visit, which is expected to focus on US President Donald Trump’s new peace plan for Ukraine and policies regarding Belarus, her aide Franak Viačorka told Pozirk.
The politician will present Belarusians’ view of Trump’s plan and its consequences for Belarus, seek support for Belarusian reprisal victims and independent media and discuss response to Minsk’s hybrid attacks on Lithuania and Poland, he added.
The visit will feature talks with German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul, Bundestag President Julia Klöckner and other officials.
