Cichanoŭskaja visiting Austria

September 4, Pozirk. Belarusian opposition leader Śviatłana Cichanoŭskaja has announced the start of her visit to Austria at the invitation of the Austrian foreign ministry in a post on X.
The politician is expected to meet with Austrian Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger, Minister for Europe, Integration and Family Claudia Plakolm, Austrian MPs and representatives of the Belarusian community.
Cichanoŭskaja will also deliver a keynote address on the role of Belarus in European security at a public discussion organized by Dialogbüro Vienna.
The politician visited Austria last year, meeting with then-Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg, who expressed his support for a free, democratic and active Belarusian civil society.
