Rubel up against US dollar, euro, yuan at BCSE on August 26

August 26, Pozirk. The rubel strengthened to 2.9774 against the US dollar at the August 26 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.

The Belarusian currency also climbed to 3.4575 per euro and 4.1336 per 10 Chinese yuan but dropped to 3.6924 per 100 Russian rubles.

Last week (August 18 – 22), the rubel lost 0.12 percent against the dollar and 0.24 percent against the yuan, but gained 0.28 percent against the euro and 0.49 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency gained 12.97 percent against the dollar in the first seven months of 2025.
