Rubel slides against US dollar, euro, yuan at BCSE on August 25

August 25, Pozirk. The rubel depreciated to 2.9825 against the US dollar at the August 25 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.

The Belarusian currency also dropped to 3.4832 per euro and 4.1462 per 10 Chinese yuan but climbed to 3.6918 per 100 Russian rubles.

Last week (August 18 – 22), the rubel lost 0.12 percent against the dollar and 0.24 percent against the yuan, but gained 0.28 percent against the euro and 0.49 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency gained 12.97 percent against the dollar in the first seven months of 2025.
