August 21, Pozirk. The rubel depreciated to 2.9743 against the US dollar at the August 21 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
The Belarusian currency dropped to 4.1245 per 10 Chinese yuan but climbed to 3.4743 per euro and remained at 3.696 per 100 Russian rubles.
Last week (August 11 – 15), the rubel gained 0.41 percent against the dollar and 0.1 percent against the Russian ruble, but lost 0.46 percent against the euro and 0.39 percent against the yuan.
The Belarusian currency gained 12.97 percent against the dollar in the first seven months of 2025.
