Rubel climbs against US dollar, euro, Russian currency on August 19

August 19, Pozirk. The rubel strengthened to 2.9773 against the US dollar at the August 19 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.

The Belarusian currency also climbed to 3.451 per euro and 3.6934 per 100 Russian rubles but dropped to 4.1267 per 10 Chinese yuan.

Last week (August 11 – 15), the rubel gained 0.41 percent against the dollar and 0.1 percent against the Russian ruble, but lost 0.46 percent against the euro and 0.39 percent against the yuan.

The Belarusian currency gained 12.97 percent against the dollar in the first seven months of 2025.
