Rubel hits 26-month high against US dollar at BCSE on July 22

July 22, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 2.9189 against the US dollar at the July 22 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange, hitting a high comparable to the value recorded on May 30, 2023, when it stood at 2.9226.

The Belarusian currency also climbed to 3.7319 per 100 Russian rubles and 4.0626 per 10 Chinese yuan.

The rubel has not traded against the European currency and remained at 3.4088 against the euro.

Last week (July 14 – 18), the rubel lost 0.16 percent against the dollar but rose 0.2 percent against the euro, 0.36 percent against the yuan and 0.13 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency gained 14.6 percent against the dollar in the first six months of 2025.
