Rubel rises against key currencies except Russian ruble on July 8

July 8, Pozirk. The rubel has posted gains against key currencies except its Russian peer at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.

In today’s trading, it rose to 2.9569 per dollar, 3.5001 per euro and 4.1005 per 10 Chinese yuan. However, it fell to 3.7714 per 100 Russian rubles.

Over the last trading week, which ended on July 2 because of public holidays, the rubel gained 0.01 percent against the dollar, 0.1 percent against the yuan and 0.05 percent against the Russian ruble but lost 2.53 percent against the euro.

The Belarusian currency gained 14.6 percent against the dollar in the first six months of 2025.
