Rubel down against US dollar ahead of long weekend

July 2, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated to 2.9659 against the US dollar at the July 2 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
The Belarusian currency dropped to 4.1248 per 10 Chinese yuan but climbed to 3.7718 per 100 Russian rubles.
The rubel has not traded against the European currency and remained at 3.5066 against the euro.
This week, with tradings held from June 30 to July 2, the rubel gained 0.01 percent against the dollar, 0.1 percent against the yuan and 0.05 percent against the Russian ruble but lost 2.53 percent against the euro.
The Belarusian currency gained 14.6 percent against the dollar in the first six months of 2025.
